When Sophie and her cousin, Laurence, find a mysterious cave on Halloween night, they do not know that they've discovered a portal between worlds. Their lives are caught up in a swirl of magic, intrigue, royalty, and whatever else pops into the author's head at the time as they explore the Hall.

So, I had this wonderful other story all planned out and ready to write when this thing popped into my head. I know, I know- it's cliched, and overdone, and all of that, but it was quite fun to write.

WriMo is still going strong thus far! This is a big chapter- it's the majority of what I've written thus far- so, enjoy!
Sophie goes through the most hilarious voice change in the middle of this. She starts off pretty serious, then goes completely OOC spastic when a boy talks to her, then gets all serious again. I didn't want to fix it though, because no fixing is allowed in NaNoWriMo. Hahaha, it just gives me joy.
3. Scenes 4, 5, and 6- In Which We Get to the Good Stuff by pig_ina_poke [Reviews - 1] (4711 words)
So, I'm approximately 5,000 words behind on WriMo now, which is very sad. It wasn't because i was slacking off, it was because I was at volleyball nationals and my friends don't exactly know about my. . . noveling efforts. Ah, well, I'll come out of the closet sometime. Preferably when I'm rich and famous and rich. (That came out really very arrogant. It was sarcasm, I swear.)
Anyways, story's going well. There are so many little story threads, which make writing so much fun! Before, I would write, 'Event occurs. Aftermath occurs. Etc.' but this is really much more fun!

PS. Is it just me, or is this story becoming Twilight? It's hilarious. Does anyone else other than me see the similiarities?
